What Options and Amenities to Look for When Booking Group Vacation Rentals in Las Vegas.

Published by Andre Le on Dec 12

Planning a group trip to Las Vegas? Ready to live it up with family, friends, clients or colleagues in the extravagant, neon-filled entertainment paradise of Vegas? Then it’s important to know what options and amenities to look for when booking vacation rentals in Las Vegas with a group.

There are some key questions to answer before you peruse luxury vacation rentals and mansions for rent in Las Vegas. Foremost is the question of group size. How many guests will travel with your group? How many bedrooms will your group need?

Eight-bedroom mansions, ten, twelve, and even fifteen-bedroom mansions are all available to you in Las Vegas!  These dazzling estates and spacious luxury mansions come in so many different architectural styles; contemporary, Mediterranean, Pueblo, Tuscan, Venetian, etc. all are full of grandeur!

An important aspect of this question of group size is, will children be a part of your group? And will there be pets? If you answered “yes” to either of these questions, be aware this might slightly narrow your list of available luxury rental mansions in Las Vegas.

The next key question is; are you planning an event? Some estates offer landscaped grounds and gardens with spacious lawns or event spaces that can accommodate several hundred seated guests, for weddings and ceremonies.

Other estates boast indoor conference space to host large corporate events. Is this something your group will need? If so, you may wish to work with a Vegas area event planner to arrange catering, rentals of chairs, tables, or details such as floral arrangements and decorations.

Amenities are the third major consideration when selecting luxury vacation rentals in Las Vegas.  Does your group prefer indoor or outdoor activities or a combination of the two? Typically, swimming pools and spas are desirable amenities in Las Vegas, simply because of the warm weather.  Does your group desire a swimming pool? There are so many types of pools and pool features to choose from! Indoor pools, outdoor pools, heated pools, saltwater pools, diving pools, lighted pools, pools with fountains, waterfall features, and swim-up bars, even kid-friendly pools, waterslides, and lazy river features. There are countless varieties of pools, spas and saunas. Does your group have any specific preferences for spa/sauna or swimming pool features?

Kitchen and dining options are the fourth key consideration when choosing a Las Vegas luxury rental home. Depending on the size of the group, you may require a commercial-grade kitchen. Take time to discuss with your group the type of meals you want to enjoy and how meals will be prepared.

Do you plan to cook meals in-home? Hire a private chef? A catering company? Do you plan to eat out frequently? Are there specific kitchen features your group desires? For example, a wood-fired pizza oven? A sub-zero fridge? Multiple refrigerators/freezers? A Wolf range? Multiple ovens to cook meals for a large group? Or perhaps your group is passionate about cooking outdoors on a BBQ grill, hibachi grill, outdoor picnic space, open fire pit, or enjoying alfresco dining? What about a wine cellar or wine room?

In regard to dining, does your group prefer to dine together or separately? Do you need a large formal dining room? Or multiple smaller dining areas? Does your group prefer covered outdoor dining? Poolside patio dining? Rooftop or balcony dining with views? A breakfast bar? Multiple breakfast bars? There are plenty of options to choose from, even if you desire very specific, unique dining options! For example, there are even Japanese-style mansions that feature traditional tatami-style dining, complete with bonsai displays and decorative scrolls.

Home entertainment is the fifth key consideration when selecting luxury lodging in Las Vegas. Get a group consensus about preferred in-home entertainment/sports/games and activities. Do you desire game rooms, sports courts, home theaters, bowling alleys, putting greens, climbing walls, yoga studios, home gyms, etc?

If your group loves sports, do they prefer basketball? Volleyball? Pickleball? Tennis? Shuffleboard? Air hockey? Foosball? Ping pong? If you’re traveling with kids or teens, even basic yard games like horseshoes, croquet, corn hole, or a yard with a soccer field and/or playground  may help to keep the kids entertained and give the littles a vacation of a lifetime!

Alternatively, If folks in your group have daily exercise routines, you may be searching for a mansion with an in-home gym or yoga studio. If your group loves games, you may desire a pool table, poker table, or card tables.

Last but certainly not least is the question of location. Proximity to the Strip is the sixth key consideration when it comes to booking luxury vacation rentals in Las Vegas. How close does your group want to be to the strip? To dining, shopping, and entertainment options? If privacy is important, your group may be seeking a safe, gated neighborhood or a quiet, private, gated estate at the end of a cul-de-sac.

When the sun sets, Las Vegas comes alive. Casinos host an extravagant variety of world-class events; concerts, magic shows, burlesque performances, parties, etc. There’s fun on the Strip at any hour of night, or day. If access to entertainment on the Strip is important to you, seek out properties with convenience and coordinate luxury transportation (party bus, limos, etc.) that can help to transport your group to desired destinations. Ideally, this overview should help you to brainstorm needs and amenities before booking large group vacations in Las Vegas. Live it up! This is your opportunity of a lifetime to vacation in impeccable style!
